Plastic Free July is a worldwide movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution, and it is something that we are super excited about here at TanOrganic, especially this year!
We want to make a real impact by spreading kindness and giving back to the planet with every product we make. This is why we have began our partnership with repurpose Global! This means that for each bottle of TanOrganic bought, 1lb of plastic will be removed from the ocean.
This July, we would LOVE for you to join us in our efforts to combat plastic pollution! We encourage all of our fabulous customers to go Plastic Free for the month – small habits are a huge step towards a cleaner planet!
Throughout the month, we will share useful tips and tricks on how each of us can make a step in the right direction. Keep an eye out for some informative Instagram posts & more blogs! Here at TanOrganic, sustainable packing is a promise & a priority. From the beginning, we set out to produce high end cosmetics that avoid using normal single use plastic to preserve the integrity of our products. Instead, we use glass bottles and bamboo packaging as they’re 100% recyclable and biodegradable
We’re participating in rePurpose Global’s One for One Impact Guarantee Program. This means that for every TanOrganic bottle we sell, we’re funding to remove and recycle 1lb of plastic from the ocean in Goa, India. Essentially, it only takes one TanOrganic purchase to remove 8 plastic tan bottles from the environment!
Through this initiative, TanOrganic is boosting waste workers’ income by attaching value to hard-to-recycle plastics, while supporting experienced recycling social enterprises who holistically uplift ex-waste pickers through occupational safety, health insurance, and skills training
